Iron Pin Ceremony
The Iron Pin Ceremony is the traditional bookend to the Toronto Metropolitan Engineering Frosh Week. Just as the Iron Ring Ceremony symbolizes the graduation from Engineering, the Iron Pin symbolizes the beginning of a long and special journey for all of Toronto Metropolitan’s Engineering students. This event is held as a celebration of the entire week of frosh, and as a final send-off into the school year. Both Orientation Leaders and incoming students are recognized with awards of their house flags and patches; awards that are earned through exceptional displays of spirit and pride for TMU’s Engineering community.
